1. Data controller

Veda is a service published by Canthigaster. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, write to us at veda@nanocorp.app.

2. Data we collect

• Account: your email address (and, depending on your sign-in method, a Google or Apple identifier). Your password is stored encrypted, never in plain text.
• Birth: date, time and place of birth, required to calculate your chart.
• Service: your chart, your readings, and the content of your consultations with Veda, retained for the duration of your consultation and for as long as your account exists.
• Technical: connection data strictly necessary for operation and security.
• Payment: handled by our payment provider. We never store your bank card details.

3. How we use this data

Your data is used solely to provide the service (calculate your chart, generate your readings, converse with Veda during your consultation), manage your account and payments, and ensure the security of the service. Your birth data and consultation content are never used for commercial purposes, never sold, and never cross-referenced for advertising.

We only send you communications (news, newsletter) if you have explicitly consented. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

4. Service providers

To operate, Veda relies on technical service providers who act as sub-processors and only access your data to the extent strictly necessary for their task:

• a hosting and infrastructure provider;
• an artificial intelligence processing provider, to generate Veda's readings and responses;
• a payment provider.

Some of your data may be processed outside the European Union by our artificial intelligence provider, on the basis of standard contractual clauses governing such transfers.

5. Retention period

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, it is erased within 30 days, except where legal retention obligations apply (e.g. billing). You may delete your conversations at any time.

6. Your rights

You may access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, retrieve it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent to communications. To exercise these rights, write to us at veda@nanocorp.app, or use your account settings to delete your conversations and your account. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

7. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encrypted passwords, restricted access). In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable regulations.

8. Cookies

This site only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and your session. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are placed; no consent banner is therefore required.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. We will notify you of any significant changes.
